Edmonds Firefighters to Host 9/11 Memorial Ceremony
Honoring the Victims and Heroes of the 9/11 Attacks
Event Details
The Edmonds Fire Department will host its annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony on Sunday, September 11, 2023, at the Edmonds Waterfront Center.
The ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM and will include a reading of the names of the victims, a moment of silence, and a wreath-laying ceremony.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony. Parking is available at the Edmonds Waterfront Center.
Honoring the Victims and Heroes
The 9/11 Memorial Ceremony is an opportunity to remember the victims and heroes of the 9/11 attacks.
On September 11, 2001, terrorists attacked the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Nearly 3,000 people were killed in the attacks, including over 400 firefighters and police officers.
