Bonn: Serious accident on the A565 near Sankt Augustin - several people injured and long traffic jam
Several people were injured in a serious accident on the A565 near Sankt Augustin on Thursday evening.
According to the police, a truck and two cars were involved in the accident, which occurred around 7:30 p.m. between the junction of Sankt Augustin and the junction of Niederpleis.
The truck driver is said to have lost control of his vehicle in a bend and collided with the two cars. One of the cars was then pushed into the guardrail.
Several people were injured in the accident, the extent of their injuries is not yet known. The A565 was completely closed in the direction of Cologne for several hours. A long traffic jam formed.
The police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
